New Park Suit Hire & Menswear has been a trusted name in Townsville since 1980, proudly family-owned and operated. With a rich history of outfitting the local community, New Park Menswear recently made the decision to modernise their store. Their goal? To elevate the shopping experience with a fresh, organised and high-end retail space that truly reflects the quality of their product offering.
The Challenge
After decades with the same layout, New Park Menswear’s store was in need of a transformation.
The existing fitout lacked flexibility and struggled to effectively display their wide range of suits, shirts, ties and accessories. Overcrowded displays made browsing difficult for customers, and the static layout didn’t allow for seasonal or trend-based changes. The challenge was to refresh the space with a sleek, modern look – all while making the most of the
store’s footprint.

Finishes & Aesthetic
The overall design embraced a masculine, industrial vibe with high-end finishes to match New Park’s premium product range. Polytec Black Ply Woodmatt and Nikpol Limewash Concrete were paired with sleek black UniSlot™ fittings to create a bold and cohesive look throughout the store.

The final result is a clean, modern retail space that’s not only visually striking but also practical and easy to maintain. With modular fixtures and intuitive installation, the fitout allows New Park Menswear to update and adapt their displays with ease and ensuring their store stays fresh and functional long into the future.
