Follow this guide to keep your Apex Display fixtures safe and looking their best.
Critical safety check
Make sure every shelf, hangrail, crossbar or other clip-in item is fully clipped into the vertical posts, never part in and part out. A partly fitted item can damage the display, cause it to collapse and lead to serious injury.
Safe load limits
These limits keep our products structurally sound and safe for your staff and customers.
- All loads must be evenly distributed. Place heavier items at lower levels.
- Accessories such as extensions and mid-rails don’t increase a product’s load limit.
- UniSlot™ limits apply only when the system is correctly installed and assembled.
- For wall-fixed systems, the wall and fixings must be strong enough for the total load. If you’re unsure, check with a licensed builder or installer.
- Don’t climb on, lean on or hang from fixtures.

Cleaning and surface care
- Regular cleaning. Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Use a mild, pH-neutral soap if needed, then wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Harsh chemicals, bleach, solvents or abrasive scouring pads. These can permanently damage powder-coat, chrome, acrylic and melamine finishes.
Installation and environment
- Indoor use only. Designed for dry, indoor retail environments. Avoid high humidity, moisture and salt-laden coastal air.
- No modifications. Don’t drill, cut or weld components. Unauthorised structural changes may void the Manufacturer’s Warranty.
- Make sure bays are level. Use the adjustable feet on uneven floors to prevent leaning.
Periodic maintenance
- Hardware check. Regularly check that all brackets are firmly seated in the posts.
- Pop-up use. For temporary setups, inspect connection points often for wear from repeated assembly and disassembly.
- Store components flat, in a dry area and off the floor, to prevent impact damage and moisture.
