Canada Goose Pop-Up, Sydney NSW
When iconic outerwear brand Canada Goose prepared to enter the Australian market, they partnered with Brand Collective to deliver their first ever retail pop-up store right in the heart of Sydney. As a globally recognised fashion label, the brief called for a space that would uphold the brand’s premium aesthetic while meeting the practical requirements of a modular fit-out to suit their temporary installation.
With experience working alongside Brand Collective on past retail fit-out projects, Apex Display was once again brought back to bring the design to life. An example of our UniSlot™ Feature Pod, originally created for a streetwear concept caught the client’s attention and became the cornerstone of this fit-out.
Design Objectives
Canada Goose required a high-impact, premium retail environment that could be executed within a condensed timeline. The store needed to both capture attention and reflect the brand’s commitment to quality. With a four-week window from sign-off to opening, the speed of delivery and ease of installation were critical. Additionally, the design needed to maximise visual appeal while remaining practical and economical.
Implementation
To meet these objectives, Apex Display supplied a custom UniSlot™ Feature Pod fitted with integrated LED lighting; a striking centrepiece that not only enhanced product presentation but also provided a dynamic, boutique-style focal point for the store. The UniSlot™ system was selected for its ease of installation, modularity and refined appearance, making it the ideal choice for a pop-up format where both speed and style matter.
All UniSlot™ elements were finished in sleek black metal with timber accents in Polytec Oyster Grey Matt and Black – a neutral, high-end palette that aligned with the Canada Goose brand while elevating the overall fit-out.

Challenges & Solutions
The condensed lead time presented the primary challenge. Apex Display worked closely with Brand Collective and the project team at Leeda Projects to meet critical deadlines and ensure a seamless installation. Because the UniSlot™ Shopfitting System is designed for rapid deployment and reconfiguration within retail stores, it allowed the fit-out to progress smoothly without compromising on visual impact.
The flexibility and speed of our Australian-made UniSlot™ range manufactured in Brisbane, meant we could quickly manufacture and supply the required fixtures, avoiding international shipping delays and supporting local industry.
The Outcome
The pop-up opened on schedule in November 2023 and has exceeded expectations ever since. While originally intended as a short-term activation, the store remains in operation well beyond its planned end date, a clear indicator of its success.
The end result is a premium, engaging retail space that showcases the Canada Goose brand with confidence and style – made possible by thoughtful design and a trusted partnership with Apex Display.
