When Noosa Golf Co set out to transform an old Commonwealth Bank site into a premium golf retail store and simulator hub, they had one goal in mind: create a clean, contemporary space that allowed golf products to shine. Owner Cameron Craven, alongside designer Tara Marlowe, reached out to Apex Display for a flexible and professional fitout solution.
Fresh off completing the flexible display solutions for the PGA, Apex Display was perfectly positioned to deliver a modular shopfitting system that could adapt to the specific demands of golf retail. From golf clubs to accessories, every fixture needed to balance functionality and aesthetics – a challenge that traditional golf suppliers couldn’t easily solve.

The Challenge
Unlike fashion or homewares, golf retail presents specific display challenges. Clubs need to be showcased in a way that is both functional and visually striking, without overwhelming customers with clutter. Traditional golf fixtures can often result in a mismatched, inconsistent aesthetic.
Noosa Golf Co wanted a uniform, streamlined fitout with a defined colour palette that let the products take centre stage. With a set budget, Apex Display worked closely with the designer to balance impact and affordability by adjusting fixture selections where needed.
Design Goals & Process
Collaborative planning: The Noosa Golf team spent time in our showroom in Brisbane exploring Laminex and Polytec finishes to define a strong design direction.
Consistent colour palette: Black fixtures paired with Laminex Pearl finishes delivered a contemporary, high-end look.
Space efficiency: With no structural restrictions, the layout was optimised for flow, visibility and simplicity.
Minimalist presentation: The design ensured products weren’t overcrowded, creating a calm retail environment where merchandise could “speak for itself”.
The Result
The completed store fitout reflects precision and performance, much like the sport itself. The space is clean, contemporary and customer-focused, offering an engaging shopping experience that aligns perfectly with Noosa Golf Co’s brand vision.
