Holiday Windows 2015: Inspiration from James Street

Following up our post last year showcasing the window display talent in Brisbane’s Paddington, we put the spotlight on the James Street Precinct. There’s a great display of originality here!

Maryon’s has decided to aim for simple and chic with 2 supersized stars in their window made of bamboo and doilies (we think!)

Not wanting to risk being boring, Camargue has gone Mexican this season – using a lot of chalk markers, coloured paper and sombreros to convey the message.

French Rendezvous is very classic this year, with their window showcasing a range of gift suggestions positioned so you can picture them at home. The twinkling lights attract attention and create a barrier between the window and the store.

Unique and witty, Sass & Bide’s big balloon sculptures are a different take on the season! They only highlight minimal product, but they are definitely memorable.

Combining a summer beachy feeling and a few hints of Christmas, St Bart’s window is all about making you dream of the long lazy warm days that fill the Australian Holiday Season.

That’s not all though …. Below are just some of the other windows along James Street. Hopefully they will give you inspiration and spark your creativity throughout 2015
