SLATWALL DISPLAY SYSTEM
This system is also known as slat wall panels or slotted board. They are wooden display panels with horizontal slots running across them. This is a traditional and simple shopfitting system, known for its merchandising flexibility and affordability.
By making some small changes, you can use it to create an extremely minimalist but effective display system. Changing the spacing of slats, using new finishes, or adding black inserts can upgrade slatwall and make it more modern.

Slotted boards are a practical method for showcasing products and maintaining order in a store. Typically constructed from 16mm MDF panels (medium-density fibreboard), these boards feature horizontal slots with aluminium extrusions/inserts on one side.
We manufacture our panels with 3 different “slat-centres”. Slat-centre is the distance from the centre of one aluminium extrusion/aluminium insert to the centre of the next. For your convenience, we manufacture them with 100mm, 150mm and 200mm slat-centres. Having the 3 different height options available, you are not restricted by the heights of products you would like to display.
The standard size of our slatwall panels are 2400mm W x 1200mm H. We can custom cut the panels to size – simply contact us with your requirements and we will provide a quote!
Apart from supplying high quality slotted panels, we supply a wide range of accessories. Accessories like slatwall shelving, shelf brackets, hangrails, faceout arms, hooks and various acrylic products.
We use premium quality board and aluminium to make sure the end product is built to a high standard.

The most popular slatwall centres are 100mm, 150mm and 200mm, depending on your display needs. Apex Display can route slatwall with centres as close as 50mm if you require. If you’re unsure what spacing is best for your store, our sales team can guide you in choosing the right option.

Once your enquiry is submitted, you will receive a Sales Proposal with final details for approval.
Standard orders (Black, White and Native Oak) are manufactured in our warehouse in Brisbane and generally take 1 to 3 days from confirmation of order.
For any custom orders, please allow extra manufacturing time.
We will always contact you when you order is ready for dispatch and advise an approximate ETA.
Delivery to Brisbane or greater metro area is generally within 1 to 2 business days from completion of manufacture. For any other areas, delivery times will depend on the location. We aim to contract the most cost effective and efficient courier to ensure you receive your order on time and in the condition it left our warehouse.
